Live music makes every event better! Cover2Cover - Kelowna's classic rock dance band was formed in 2010 and is the brain child of guitarist Jim Rhindress who wanted to create a rock band with the very best players Kelowna has to offer. He wanted a fun classic rock dance band that would not only have the highest level of musicianship but to create a project with great friends who truly enjoy each other's company. You can really feel the energy when these good friends get together to make great music! They take turns fronting the songs, harmonizing and have a ton of fun doing it!

Cover2Cover specializes in songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s through today with new material being added all the time. We can also perform as a 3-piece or duo depending on the needs of the event.

Our sound system is state of the art and we can provide full stage lighting if needed. We are available for fundraisers, corporate events, private parties and weddings.

Cover2Cover has provided classic rock dance music for such large and prestigious events as the Canadian Culinary Championships three years in a row since 2012, sharing the stage with Canadian rock royalty Barney Bentall, Ed Robertson of the Bare Naked Ladies and Allen Doyle of Great Big Sea, Westjet WineFest, Ribfest and Earth Wind & Fire.

You may also have seen us performing classic rock and dance sets for Festivals Kelowna, Westside Daze, private parties and corporate events.

Jim Rhindress

Guitar / Vocals

Jim began playing professionally at the age of 15 in northern BC. Over the years, he has worked with a wide variety of projects in Vancouver and is a much sought after studio musician; recording in both in Vancouver and Kelowna. Locally, Jim has fronted “The Grateful Dads” and “Too Good for Radio” as well as playing with many other successful bands and recording artists. Jim is also currently writing songs and performing in the acoustic duos Smitten! and Rhindress with his wife Kim.

Robert Vallee

Drums / Vocals

Robert started playing in Alberta as a teenager and although they may have been tormented, his parents were always very supportive. Cutting his teeth in the Alberta scene as an underage drummer was never a problem, he had the best fake ID possible! In 1998 family ties, a willing wife, and a desire to live in paradise finally brought him to the Okanagan. Since then he has played in numerous bands and has gotten to know a lot of great musicians. He is excited to add his lead and harmony vocals as well as holding the groove.

Kim Rhindress

Keys / Vocals

Kim is from Ontario and started singing and playing the piano when she was 5. She is well known in Kelowna for her theatre work and loves writing songs and performing with Jim in their duo where they play a variety of songs and styles for weddings, events and parties. She is excited to add her voice and keys to these great classic rock tunes!

Mike Mueller

Guitar / Vocals

Mike hails from Medicine Hat and has been a professional musician for more than 35 years; rockin' the Okanagan music scene for the last 10 years. He is well versed in many styles of music but prefers guitar driven classic rock. As one of the founding members of Cover2Cover, he loves the diversity and energy of this group.

Cyril Schermann

Bass

Cyril is a career musician from Kelowna who has been playing bass since he was a teenager. Country fans will recognize him as a 2020 nominee for bassist of the year at the BCCMA. He has played on stages in France England and on many country festival stages in Canada. He has opened for Carrie Underwood, Brett Kissel, Toby Keith among others and brings a wealth of real musical intelligence to our project. We are delighted to play with him as aside from his abilities and pedigree, he is a treasured friend.

Smitten!

Smitten! is an acoustic and dance music duo I have formed with my wife, Kim Foreman-Rhindress.

We sing a wide variety of acoustic and rock songs. Our repertoire is perfect for any weddings, wineries, corporate functions, or private parties. I play electric guitar, Kim plays keys, and we use backing tracks for the bass and drums. We guarantee you a great night of dance music, classic rock, and 80s & 90s pop songs.

For special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or weddings, we can write customs songs. And, we can even deliver a singing telegram.

Kelowna Voice Lab

Kelowna Voice Lab provides voice coaching and lessons. Kim can help with vocal fatigue and give you great techniques to help protect and improve your voice.
